Open Ethics Process
The AI Anima Ethics Committee is open to all Cross Lake community members. Questions about data, culture, privacy, and the environment are discussed openly and regularly.

AI Anima actively trains and hires community members at every stage, from data collection to model evaluation.
Ethics Committee
The AI Anima Ethics Committee is open to all Cross Lake community members. No application, no appointment. If you're from the community and have thoughts on the ethical dimensions of this work, your perspective matters.
The committee meets virtually on a regular basis to discuss ethics questions: how recordings are collected, who can access them, how cultural knowledge is protected, what responsible use looks like, and how the project impacts the land and environment.
